Joachim Meyerhoff - Alle Toten fliegen hoch Amerika **/****

There's not much "deep shit" in this book. It's quite pleasant to read but it still kinda lacks of a point. The main character didn't really become a better person by the end of the story. He didn't feel guilty about cheating on his girlfriend and to that was he not treating her very well. He spent a year away in America and hardly ever contacted her. Well, the question is, why did she stay with him? Nevertheless had he also his good sides. I like the fact that he took care of the horse that his guest family's son had abandoned. He became friends with Randy Hart who was in the Wyoming State prison sentenced to death. And the best part of the story is probably that he had curly blond hair. But he cut it off! This fact surely spoils the entire story. Lots of spoilers, I know. But I think you shouldn't read this book anyway. I will start reading my next book soon, a better one, and after reading it I'll write my next review. Untill then... Sweet
